Sohna
A three and a half hour drive from Delhi
Brings you to Sohna, in the bordering state of Haryana. Its hot

during an early weekend in February, it is the destination of the
Statesman Vintage Car Rally.
Dhauj
Around 40 kms

Surajkund
This is the
location of an ancient water tank named after the sun god, Suraj.
The circular tank has, in one corner, a huge ramp that was used by
elephants. There is also a man make lake nearby where boating is
popular with picnickers. For a fortnight in February, there is a
traditional crafts fair, where artisans from all over the country
display their wares. |
