Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Late night arrival. You will be received by our representative
at the airport, who will take you to the hotel. You will be
accorded a traditional welcome. Overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After
breakfast, head on a guided tour of New Delhi. Some of the
monuments you visit on your sightseeing tour include Bahai
Temple (Lotus Temple), Humayun's Tomb, the Qutab Minar,
Connaught Place and India Gate. In the afternoon proceed on a
sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, visit Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj
Ghat and other memorials. You also take a ride on a cycle
rickshaw.
Dinner with an Indian family
is the main highlight of your evening activity. You visit an
Indian family for dinner to get an insight into the Indian way
of life. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi- Jaipur
Head to Jaipur by road from Delhi. En-route, enjoy the
various sights and sounds of India. After reaching Jaipur,
check-in at the hotel. Refresh. Visit colorful bazaars to get a
feel of the city. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur
This is the day to take in the architectural beauty of
the Pink City. You visit Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar
Observatory, Hawa Mahal and other important places on your
sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Jaipur is rich with ancient
monuments, which were built centuries ago. Overnight stay in the
hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur-Ranthambore
Proceed
to Ranthambore National Park. Upon arrival check in at hotel.
Later in the afternoon, head to explore the wildlife in the
park. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 06: Ranthambore
Get ready
to enjoy a jungle ride in the morning at Ranthambore National
Park. You will enjoy the wildlife safari on the open top
vehicles. You can see various animals and birds in the park. If
you are lucky, you might come across a big cat. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 07: Ranthambore-Bharatpur
In the
morning head on a jungle safari. After breakfast drive to
Bharatpur. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. In the afternoon
explore the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary is
considered as a paradise for bird lovers. The Bharatpur Bird
Sanctuary is home to many migratory birds also. Overnight stay
in the hotel.
Day 08: Bharatpur- Fatehpur Sikri-Agra
After breakfast, drive to Fatehpur Sikri, the capital city of
the Mughal emperor Akbar. The city has some palatial buildings,
a mosque and the shrine of saint Salim Chisti. Head to Agra and
upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 09: Agra- Umaria
In the morning proceed to visit one of the most beautiful
monuments in India—Taj Mahal. The Taj looks stunning in the
morning. After breakfast, head to the Agra Fort. The fort was
built by the Mughal emperor Akbar. The fort houses various
beautiful palaces and mansions inside. Later transfer to the
railway station to catch a train for Umaria. Overnight journey
to Umaria.
Day 10: Umaria-Bandhavgarh
Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and assist for
onward journey to Bandhavgarh. Known for a variety of wildlife
the Bandhavgarh National Park is home to large number of
animals, which include deer antelope, chinkara, chowsingha,
gaur, wild boar and of course the tiger. After arrival check in
at the hotel. In the afternoon head on a wildlife safari in an
open jeep. Enjoy dinner and cultural programs. Overnight stay at
the hotel.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh National Park
Head on a jungle safari in the park. You can enjoy ride on an
elephant back. You can also head for a fishing expedition or
head to enjoy a boat safari. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh -Khajuraho
Enjoy wildlife safari in the morning. After breakfast head for a
six-hour journey to Khajuraho. Khajuraho is famous for the
Chandela temples built about 1000 years ago. After arrival check
in at the hotel. Enjoy your evening in a pleasant rural setting.
Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 13: Khajuraho- Varanasi
In the morning head on guided tour of Khajuraho. You visit the
temples in Khajuraho, which are popular for their erotic
sculptures. The temples were built by Chandela rulers between
950 and 1050 AD. In the afternoon transfer to airport to catch a
flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Relax in
your room. In the evening, head to Buddhist city of Sarnath for
a short trip. It is the place where Buddha gave his first sermon
after attaining enlightenment. Later drive back to Varanasi.
Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 14: Varanasi-Delhi
Get before sunrise and head on a tour of the ghats on the banks
of the Ganges. Witness the daily rituals followed by people.
Later maze thorough the by lanes and streets of Varanasi. Also
visit various important temples in Varanasi. In the afternoon
transfer to airport for a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival check at
the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 15: Delhi
Early morning transfer to airport to catch a flight back home.
